Yes. Come solo and you'll be seated at a table with locals and players from all over the world. Games are hosted in English and Nepali, so it's an easy way to meet people.

Can I request a specific game for a game night?

Good questions

When and where do you play?

Whenever a group comes together, any day of the week. Tell us when you're free in the form and we'll email you the date, time and place once your table is set. Venues are around Kathmandu.

I've never played board games. Is that okay?

Totally. Most guests are beginners. A host teaches every game and we start with easy ones.

I'm coming on my own. Will I fit in?

Absolutely. Lots of people come solo. We seat you with a friendly mix of locals and players from all over the world, and the host gets everyone playing within minutes. Games are hosted in English and Nepali.

What does it cost?

We share the price with your table confirmation, before you commit. It covers all the games, a host, chiya and snacks. Food and other drinks depend on the venue.

How does renting work?

Pick games, choose dates and send an inquiry. We reply on WhatsApp with availability, the rental fee and a refundable deposit. Pick up from us or get it delivered, then return it complete to get your deposit back.

What if a piece goes missing from a rental?

It happens! Tell us when you return the game. Small pieces are usually fine; we only keep part of the deposit if something important is lost or damaged.

What do you do with my details?

When you fill out the form we save your name, contact details and answers in a private Google Sheet that only the Board Game Nepal team can open. We use them only to set up your table and tell you about future game nights. We never sell or share them, and we don't use tracking cookies or ads. Want your details deleted? Message us on WhatsApp or email and we'll remove them.

Do you sell games?

Not yet. For now our games are for playing at game nights and private events.
